Tim Kindberg
Tim Kindberg is the founder of social video startup Nth Screen, which is based in Bristol’s Pervasive Media Studio. His experience in the academic, commercial and arts sectors stretches over two decades, from computer science research to R&D in the creative industries.
He collaborates with film and theatre makers and other artists, applying his expertise in mobile, pervasive and urban computing. He holds a Ph.D in Computer Science and has held visiting professorships at the University of Bath and the IT University, Copenhagen. He spent ten years at Hewlett-Packard Labs in Silicon Valley and Bristol. Before that he was senior lecturer in computer science at Queen Mary, London. He writes fiction in his spare time.
