Jon Harman
Lecturer in Media Production and Digital Competence in Learning in Volda University College. Jon previously was Director of Learning Design & Media at the University of Law in the UK, he pioneered a digital learning media studio flipping the classroom before the term had been coined and running an interactive television channel for lawyers. He has consulted on digital publishing and learning strategies for Pearson Innovation and Law Without Walls to name a few. Prior to focussing on learning and education, Jon worked in film and television production. He studied Professional Broadcasting at Ravensbourne College and has produced feature films and production managed large broadcasts for Disney, BBC, Channel Four and ITV. He directed a 1hr documentary on the infamous drug smuggler Howard Marks for Ch4. He continues to develop media productions and teaches advanced media production to undergraduates at Volda.
