Co-Founder and Producer at Virtual Reality studio VRTOV, Katy Morrison makes virtual reality and immersive story experiences for non-fiction stories.
In 2014 VRTOV produced the first Virtual Reality experience to win an award at an international festival – Assent by Oscar Raby, winner of the Interactive Audience Award at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2014 and exhibited at Sundance New Frontier 2015. In 2015 they produced Hola World, a VR experience that premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2015.
In addition to producing documentary Virtual Reality, VRTOV regularly run workshops and speak at festivals including IDFA, Sheffield, and facilitate hands-on engagement with VR production techniques for broadcasters and media companies. Previously Katy worked in documentary television as a researcher, writer and producer.
