Darren Emerson
Darren is a producer and co-founder of East City Films, a London based Production Company. Over the last 15 years he has produced everything from music videos, multi-camera OB’s, to documentaries filmed in Serbia, India, Myanmar and Nigeria.
Since the end of 2014 East City Films has fully embraced live action VR. In 2016 East City Films will be launching “VR CITY” a company that will focus on using 360 filming to create transformative emotions experiences.
Darren is passionate about the potential VR has to tell important stories in a unique and emotionally engaging way. His goal is that “Witness 360: 7/7” marks the first in a series of VR documentary films that will pair extraordinary personal recollections with immersive imagery and abstract visual symbolism, to create films with a deep sense of emotional resonance between the audience and the subject.
