Samara Smith
Samara Smith creates site-specific media projects in and about public space.
Her work, which utilizes mobile strategies–such as, locative games, soundwalks and augmented reality–to invite active exploration of common urban spaces, has been featured at Open Engagement/Queens Museum, Conflux Festival, Hammer Museum, Elsewhere Museum, NY Transit Museum (NYC) and beyond.
She teaches documentary and new media at SUNY Old Westbury.
