Sebastian Melo
Sebastian Melo, born in Santiago, Chile, currently based in London. Has directed and produced new media and documentary films since 2005. His first project “From Afar” was awarded the Grand Prix at the Santiago International Documentary Film Festival (FIDOCS). He was awarded the Goldsmiths International Postgraduate Scholarship and holds an MA degree in Digital Media, Technology and Cultural Form. His video work has been published in Motion and Representation (MIT Press, 2015) and Digital Movement (Palgrave, 2015). His work focus on the possibilities that emerge from the intersection of new media and documentary film.
